TIME WAS NEVER OURS
we never had a hold of time
for it went as it came,
with it's waves carrying us
fleetingly
yet slowly-
we won't ever get it back
(and we wouldn't want to)
now tell me
if there is any value to this ink,
to the stanzas i crafted
to conceal
what i hadn't revealed.
I care not for time,
only these screams.
with tears in your eyes, and knots in your stomach
unaware of this part of yourself,
you never knew existed
untill, it looked you in the eyes
and shook your essence.
with a stained glass of wine in your right,
your heart still beats songs in hopes, they are listening
this silence is deep enough to drown you
and you sink
deeper
like a precious ship underwater
your treasures unravel
you say you have always been a sunken ship,
(oblivious of the treasures buried within you.)
untill these pages showed you - "Look inside, the answer is there"
